NS Austell, GA Final Presentation for Austell Operational Changes – International Stacking, Driver Procedures

This Wednesday, March 13, Norfolk Southern will hold our final meeting to present the upcoming operational changes involving the stacking of international containers at the Austell Whitaker Intermodal Facility. Following a measured approach in 2023 of implementing necessary components, and testing to ensure stable and reliable systems, we will implement full functionality of the grounded international stack module on Mar 19, 2024. This meeting will walk through the specific steps drivers will be required to follow on terminal to pick up or drop off international traffic in the stack.
