Charlotte Crossing Construction Project

Beginning today, Monday, October 9^th, our Charlotte Intermodal Facility will begin rail crossing construction that will last through Thursday, October 12^th. The track-specific daily schedule of crossing construction is outlined below:   

• Monday 10/9 – Track
• Tuesday 10/10 – Track 2
• Wednesday 10/11 – Track 5
• Thursday 10/12 – Track 5

While drivers will not be impacted today, beginning tomorrow drivers should expect temporary traffic pattern changes due to the construction. The Charlotte terminal map is attached with crossings indicated by vertical arrows as reference.    

No departure, availability, or gate delays are expected because of the construction. Drivers should maintain safe speeds, be aware of construction crews and vehicles, and obey all signage and temporary changes in traffic patterns while on terminal.
