The multi-phase paving project at our Croxton terminal that we announced on a prior service alert on August 27 is still underway. While we are currently in phase one of the effort, phase two will begin Saturday, September 5. Again, to minimize operational impacts, the project will be completed in multiple phases. The entire phase schedule is outlined below.
Project Schedule
Phase 1 (Green): August 24 – September 5
The main entrance and gates (outlined in green on attached map) will be closed to truck traffic during Phase 1 of the paving project. All truck traffic will be rerouted to our emergency gate at 75 County Rd.
Phase 2 (Purple): September 5 – November 4
Paving operations will move into the Phase 2 area (outlined in purple on attached map). Drivers should anticipate modified traffic patterns and follow all posted signage and instructions from onsite personnel.
Phase 3 (Cyan): November 2 – November 17
Work will continue in the Phase 3 area (outlined in cyan on attached map). Temporary traffic adjustments and restricted access to portions of the facility may be required.
Phase 4 (Red): November 17 – December 7
Work in the Phase 4 area (outlined in red on attached map) will involve additional lane and access restrictions. Drivers should allow extra time when entering and exiting the facility.
B Lot (Orange): December 2 – December 6
Paving activities will take place in B Lot (outlined in orange on attached map). Access to B Lot will be restricted during this period. Additional instructions will be communicated as needed.
Phase 5 (Yellow): December 4 – December 18
Paving operations will move to the Phase 5 area (outlined in yellow on attached map). Customers should expect continued traffic pattern modifications and follow all directional signage.
During all phases, traffic patterns and access routes may be temporarily adjusted within the terminal. We ask that all drivers and visitors follow posted signage and the directions of on-site personnel to ensure everyone’s safety, and to help maintain efficient terminal operations. Minor shipment departure or availability delays are possible during phases 3 and 4 due to pad track vicinity.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these improvements. Updates will be provided if the schedule changes due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
