Kansas City, MO Terminal Paving Project

We would like to inform you of an upcoming pavement improvement project at our Kansas City Intermodal Facility. The project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 and anticipated to be completed by December 31.

To minimize operational impacts, the project will be completed in multiple phases:

Phase 1: Area between pad tracks IM06 and IM07

Phase 2: Area between pad tracks IM07 and IM08

Phase 3: Area adjacent to IM09

During construction, traffic patterns and access routes may be temporarily adjusted within the terminal. We ask that all drivers and visitors follow posted signage and the directions of on-site personnel to ensure everyone’s safety, and to help maintain efficient terminal operations.

No shipment departure or availability delays are expected during the project, however international drivers may experience delays due to the proximity to the international stack. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these improvements. Updates will be provided if the schedule changes due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
