Beginning Monday, August 25, our Appliance Park, KY Intermodal facility will undergo a paving improvement project that is expected to take up to 12 weeks for completion. Operations in areas of the facility will be affected at varying times during the lifespan of the paving efforts.
While paving within the vicinity of the ingate and outgate areas will be performed over the weekend to minimize gate impact, drivers may experience some delays as work progresses across the terminal.
Some stages of the terminal paving project may result in delays in shipment departure and availability. Shippers will be alerted of any substantial delays impacting their containers.
Drivers should expect changing traffic patterns and obey all signage, maintain safe speeds, and be aware of construction crews and vehicles while visiting the facility.
