Updated Live Lift Hours in at Buechel (Louisville) IMF

Effective Saturday, March 21, weekend live lift hours will no longer be available at our Buechel (Louisville), KY Intermodal facility. These weekend hours were previously communicated in our February 6 customer advisory.

Weekend operations at Buechel were introduced on a trial basis to support anticipated driver demand. After reviewing activity levels, we found that weekend gate traffic at that facility did not reach the volume needed to support permanent weekend hours.

Moving forward, Buechel will continue to offer extended weekday live lift hours as listed below, providing drivers with greater flexibility during the week. Appliance Park live lift hours will remain unchanged from previous announcement.

Buechel (Louisville) Updated Live Lift Hours: 

    Monday–Friday:  4:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Appliance Park Live Lift Hours:

    Monday–Friday:  4:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

    Saturday–Sunday:  6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Drivers are strongly encouraged to use the expanded hours to expedite shipment drop‑off and retrieval.
