NS AVP Enterprise Data & Analytics named Atlanta’s top 25 Data Leaders for 2025

Chief Data Officer Magazine has named Mabby Amouie, AVP of Enterprise Data & Analytics, as one of Atlanta’s top 25 Data Leaders for 2025. Since joining Norfolk Southern in 2017, Mabby has excelled in leadership, innovation, and the delivery of data-driven strategies and technology solutions across the Norfolk Southern rail network. His contributions have been instrumental in deploying Digital Train Inspection Portals to enhance rail safety across the company’s 22-state network. His leadership focused on developing automated solutions using machine learning to analyze railcars in real time, improving safety, reliability, and operational performance.

 

Mabby's expertise in Data and Analytics Strategy, Data Architecture, Predictive Analytics, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Sensor Fusion supports and improves our railway operations, safety, transportation, and network planning. He also holds several patents in forecasting and analytics. He is an inclusive leader who shares his insights both within and outside the company, regularly participating in leadership forums and panel discussions with Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and Georgia Tech Research Institute.
