Chris, a division engineer for the Gulf Division’s Maintenance of Way & Structures team, brings 14 years of rail experience to his role. His career has spanned multiple regions across the network, building hands-on expertise in both field operations and large-scale infrastructure delivery.
Throughout his career, he has supported critical initiatives, including:
- Capacity and efficiency projects: yard expansions, reconfigurations, and corridor improvements designed to increase throughput and reliability
- Major infrastructure upgrades: Birmingham 14th Street modernization, which resulted in faster train speeds and smoother operations through a vital interlocking
- Disaster response efforts: recovery post Hurricane Helene, where he helped coordinate teams and resources across challenging terrain to restore service safely and efficiently
