Serving with Purpose: NS management team visits HOPE Atlanta

Norfolk Southern's Management Committee volunteered with HOPE Atlanta last week — an organization that has been a lifeline for Atlanta's homeless population for 125 years.

HOPE Atlanta is dedicated to ending homelessness and hunger by providing stable housing, outreach programs, and case management services. Each year, the organization serves nearly 7,000 individuals and families, helping them find a place to call their own and the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

NS leaders prepared and served over 80 warm meals at HOPE Atlanta’s Women’s Community Kitchen.

Angie Kolar, NS chief compliance officer and a member of HOPE Atlanta’s board of directors, said, “As leaders, we know that service goes beyond business decisions. It’s about showing up, taking action, and making a difference in the communities where we operate.”

Later this year, NS will be honored at the Heroes for HOPE gala in October for our ongoing commitment to its mission. Find more information about HOPE Atlanta here.
