THOROUGHBREDS POWER AMERICA

For nearly two centuries, railroads have powered American industry, connected communities, and moved the people and goods that keep the country moving forward.

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Norfolk Southern is bringing railroad history to communities across its network this summer through public tour stops, the debut of six commemorative locomotives, historic executive office cars, and limited-edition merchandise. Alongside Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014, the tour will honor the people, infrastructure, and innovation that helped build America and continue moving it forward today.
