Norfolk Southern opens Indiana Flood Disaster Relief Grant Program

In response to the historic flooding impacting communities across central, eastern and southern Indiana, Norfolk Southern has opened its Community Disaster Relief Grant Program to support local recovery efforts.

Nonprofit organizations assisting individuals, families and communities affected by the flooding are encouraged to apply for funding by sharing how they are supporting response and recovery efforts. Eligible organizations may submit applications until September 30 through the program's online portal here. (Note: new users will need to create an account and submit their request.)

"As communities across Indiana begin the long process of recovery, we hope these grants can help local organizations deliver critical support where it is needed most."

Norfolk Southern's Community Disaster Relief Grant Program provides financial support to local nonprofit organizations delivering immediate assistance and long-term recovery services in areas impacted by disasters across the company's network.
