Norfolk Southern sponsors summer exhibit at Children's Museum of Richmond
For nearly 200 years, we’ve had a passion for moving America’s goods. Now, we’re spreading that passion to the next generation by sponsoring “From Here to There," a summer exhibit that explores how things move at the Children's Museum of Richmond.
Open now through Sept. 7 in Richmond, Virginia, the exhibit explores gravity, friction, and the laws of motion through hands-on, interactive stations for children aged 10 and below. The interactive experience helps visitors explore:
- 1,500 square feet of activities focused on transportation by land, sea, and air
- The ways friction changes across rail, dirt and water surfaces
- How internal combustion engines work to power vehicles
- Activities including riding a hovercraft, launching hot air balloons, and sending colored balls through 100+ feet of tubing
CBS 6 News covered the opening, capturing the excitement in action.
Plan your visit: The exhibit is open daily at the museum, which is located at 2626 W Broad St., Richmond. Learn more and plan your trip here.
